As of mid-November 2025 things are moving rapidly on the fire tower restoration.
Several sections have been built at — or moved up to the site of the tower. These sections include the top canopy and the section just below it. They are at the site of the fire tower behind a construction fence right now. The sections have temporary wood frame reinforcements that will help when the crane hoists them up.
The fire tower foundations are underway as well.
